This three day course is designed for anyone who wants to prepare for CAPM® examination provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® . The CAPM certification offers recognition to practitioners who are starting a career in project management as well as project team members who wish to demonstrate their project management knowledge.

To develop the knowledge required to be prepared to take the CAPM® examination
To develop an understanding of tools and techniques considered within the PMBOK® Guide
To develop understanding of specific PMI® definitions and terminology
To gain an understanding of the CAPM® examination format and typical question styles
To satisfy the 23 hour formal project management training requirement for future professional certification with PMI
During this course you will gain anexposure and awareness of the broad range of project management terms used within the workplace and the CAPM® exam. You will consider your existing project management knowledge and will further develop your knowledge to enable you to prepare to undertake the CAPM® exam. The course considers all of the project management knowledge areas as defined within the PMBOK® Guide and includes a range of practice questions.
Course accreditation and prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for taking the course however participants should make themselves aware of PMI prerequisites for taking the CAPM® examination (a high school diploma or global equivalent.) The course has been updated to refer to the latest version of the PMI® A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Fifth Edition.
